For Tony Holliday the Director of TH Scaffolding, 2017 has been a year of milestones and celebrations. Having started his career in Scaffolding in 1977, 2017 marks his 40th year in the industry, quite an achievement given the challenges this industry has. The occasion was marked with a celebratory breakfast and Tony receiving the legendary gold scaffold spanner, we are sure this will be a prized possession for many years to come.
The year of 2017 also marks Tony’s 30th year of running his own business, having come through several recessions, whilst still retaining the enthusiasm and commitment to providing customers with a high standard of service, satisfaction and competitively priced job.
Amongst the many and varied projects in 2017, there was a first for the company to being asked to provide scaffolding for a restoration project on the 1894 Black Nore Lighthouse, a pepper pot style lighthouse, one of the only 2 remaining, the other is in the Scillies. Having provided scaffolding to many projects over the years, Tony and TH Scaffolding team were pleased to be involved in such an unusual bespoke project.
Tony and all at TH Scaffolding would like to thank all past and present customers.
